Key Requirements:

Section 7 Support

Section 7.1: Resource

This section takes a broad view of items needed to realize the requirements, specifically calling for support in these critical areas:

      • labor/skills
      • plant or office facilities/utilities
      • information technology/communications
      • transportation/logistics
      • equipment

    • Calibrating or verifying monitoring and measuring resources that affect the conformity of products and services.

  • And who is responsible for the information being transmitted

Section 7.5: Documented Information

Section 7.5, documentation has been expanded to encompass the needs of what is required by the standard, but also to consider what is needed by the organization itself in order to implement the QMS.

The majority of the criteria can be met using document control software. The simplest and more efficient method used for document control is maintaining on a shared network with restricted editing functionality and updates managed manually.
